London, England
A quiet meeting of wildlife and skyline.
The Story
St. James's Grace captures a lone swan gliding across the calm water of St. James’s Park while the London Eye rises beyond the trees.
The appeal of the scene is the contrast: one of the city’s most recognizable modern landmarks sitting behind a peaceful patch of parkland. It is a small example of the balance between nature and the built environment that I am always drawn to photograph.
